A leading fashion retail conglomorate would like to increase effectiveness of sending promotional campaigns to its customers. Customers are currently receiving offers that are not always relevant for them, resulting in low conversion. The goal of the project is to leverage historical purchasing data to create personalized offers and messages that are more relevant for customers

Insight and Action

While people may generally be familiar with Netflix’s or Amazon’s recommendation system that gives explicit preference feedback as ratings on the movies and products. In our unique case, all we know is that each customer bought certain products without knowing how much he or she likes them. With this in mind, Siametrics developed a collaborative filtering model for implicit data that is able to recommend each individual customer top products they are likely to buy based on their previous purchasing data.
